Boomerang Book Blitz

The first book in a sensational New Adult trilogy from Noelle August

Welcome to Boomerang.com, the dating site for the millennial gen with its no-fuss, no-commitments matchups, and where work is steamier than any random hook-up

Mia Galliano is an aspiring filmmaker. Ethan Vance has just played his last game as a collegiate soccer star. They’re sharp, hungry for success, and they share a secret.

Last night, Ethan and Mia met at a bar, and, well . . . one thing led to another, which led to them waking up the next morning—together. Things turned awkward in a hurry when they found themselves sharing a post hookup taxi . . . to the same place: Boomerang headquarters.

What began as a powerful connection between them is treated to a cold shower courtesy of two major complications. First, Boomerang has a strict policy against co-worker dating. And second, they’re now competitors for only one job at the end of summer.

As their internships come to an end, will they manage to keep their eyes on the future and their hands off each other, or will the pull of attraction put them right back where they started?

My Review

I am not familiar with either authors Veronica Rossi or Lorin Oberweger. In this case Noelle August. I wanted to check out this book because one the book cover was cute, two the storyline sounded good, and three I have been getting into this new genre "New Adult".

Boomerang is a charming, witty, fun read! Mia and Ethan are great together. They shared instant chemistry and it had nothing to do with the fact that they woke up in bed together with Mia's underwear in the toaster oven. When I mentioned that this book was witty I forgot to also mention that this meant funny as well. There were a couple of times where I would a section to my husband and he would laugh. There was a moment at the end when Mia's hair had turned into a giant afro of curls. This only happened after really good sex. I thought this was funny because when I first met my husband years ago, he was into wearing hats backwards. He took his hat off and I thought I was never going to be seen again. My husband had a curly afro. I had never seen one up close. In fact, my husband made sure to get a hair cut before me met my parents for the first time. I can't wait to see what the second book brings. Probably more antics (I hope).
