No Mercy from author Sherrilyn Kenyon

Image
Check out the new book trailer for Sherrilyn Kenyon's new book, No Mercy. This book releases September 7th. Hope you have your copy on order. Live fast, fight hard and if you have to die then take as many of your enemies with you as you can. That is the Amazon credo and it was one Samia lived and died by. Now in contemporary New Orleans, the immortal Amazon warrior is about to learn that there’s a worse evil coming to slaughter mankind than she’s ever faced before. Shapeshifter Dev Peltier has stood guard at the front of Sanctuary for almost two hundred years and in that time, he’s seen it all. Or so he thought. Now their enemies have discovered a new source of power- one that makes a mockery of anything faced to date. The war is on and Dev and Sam are guarding ground zero. But in order to win, they will have to break the most cardinal of all rules and pray it doesn’t unravel the universe as we know it.

Fatal Convictions will be fatal to your health, as you will lose sleep reading this book.

I want to thank you for this opportunity to interview you. Can you please share with readers a little bit about yourself? I was raised on a farm surrounded by the rolling hills of southern Idaho and made my home in southern Utah among the beautiful red mountains and desert heat. I am happily married and the mother of six daughters and have five grandchildren. I also travel throughout the United States, teaching a “Family Legacy Workshop,” encouraging people to write their family history and autobiography. What type of hobbies do you have? I love traveling and camping with my family. Do you have a routine for writing? If so, how important is it to a writer to have one? I always begin writing or book promoting in the mornings when I’m fresh and have enough energy to think. I believe that a routine helps me to keep focused and that way I can get a lot more accomplished in a day. If I didn’t have a routine, I may not end up writing that day because of other things getting in the way. If th

When Doug Koktavy and his wife, Carolina was still married, Carolina suggested that they get a dog. Doug was against the idea at first but when a friend called and said asked if they would like a dog, Doug couldn’t say no. Doug and Carolina brought home a Black Labrador male that they named Boomer. A couple of weeks later, their friend called again and said they had two puppies left, would they consider a second dog. Thus, Beezer became the newest addition to the family. Boomer and Beezer got their names from hockey players. Mr. Koktavy used to play ice hockey and is a fan. Boomer was named after Bernie “Boom Boom” or “Da Boomer” Geoffrion. Bernie used to play for the Montréal Canadians. Beezer was named after goalie, John “Beezer” Vanbiesbrouck. Doug really loved Boomer and Beezer so much that when he and Carolina split, he asked to keep them. The three of them were inseparable. When Beezer was nine years old, he was diagnosed with kidney failure. In fact most of the littler that Boom

Monkey was reading a book, when Jackass (donkey) asked him what he had in his hands. Monkey told him it was a book. Donkey was quite puzzled. Donkey proceeded to ask Monkey questions like…does it scroll down? do you blog with it? can it text? Tweet? Etc. Monkey at this point was irritated with Donkey. Monkey put the book in Donkey’s hands and showed him it was a book. Donkey finally understood what a book was. It’s a bird, it’s a plane, its superman…No, It’s a Book! It’s a Book is a witty, fun, smart, comical…book. With all the new, fancy electronic technology at our fingertips today, Mr. Smith reminds us that sometimes it is nice to just read a plain, old fashion book. Yes, I am talking about one that you actually pick up, open and turn the pages. The concept for this book was great. I like that it was geared towards modern times and what is currently happening now in the present. The illustrations were good as well. Both children and adults will like this book.

This guy killed a retired Judge, who was one of Division 6’s own. When Sara gets a look at the killer, she is dumbstruck. It’s someone she never expected to see in her wildest dreams. Meanwhile, Sara can’t keep her hands of her sexy boyfriend, Lucius “Luke” Dragos. Though, how will Sara react when she discovers the truth about Luke? So like the Twilight series was so last year. This year the hottest book is When Blood Calls by J.K. Beck. J. K. Beck is the pen name for best selling author, Julie Kenner. I really like this new darker, edgier side of Mrs. Kenner. What We Have...

What We Have is a memoir about author, Amy Boesky and growing up and having every waking moment focused on if this is the day she would be diagnosed with cancer? This is a survivor story but as Mrs. Boesky explains not in the sense that she is a cancer survivor but a “previvor”. A previvor is someone who doesn’t have cancer but has an elevated risk for having it, either through a family history or by diagnosis with a genetic mutation. Being a previvor I think is almost worse then having cancer. The thought of always wondering would drive me crazy. I liked this book. I enjoyed traveling down memory lane with Amy was fun. It is always nice to learn where an author came from and what inspired them. I got all this from this book and more. Amy lived her life to the fullest, never really letting the doubts of cancer over shadow her, even when she gave birth to her daughter. Amy was the only one I felt a connection with as this book was told by her words. Overall, I liked this book but I won’

Review Opp-The Affluenza Antidote

Rochester, NY - August 24, 2010 - Is every child raised amid privilege destined for a life of self absorption and lack of purpose? Are wealthy parents doomed to watch helplessly as abundant opportunities turn their children into personal and professional failures? In 35 years of counseling wealthy families -- including 15 years at the helm of Genesee Valley Trust Company in Rochester -- author James V. D'Amico met thousands of folks who labored tirelessly to build thriving businesses. Yet the values on which they built that success - motivation, delayed gratification, honesty, respect, social responsibility - have proved disturbingly difficult to transfer to their offspring. As a result, fewer young people are developing the character and strength needed to lead future generations. Fortunately, while the dramatic exploits of spoiled rich children indeed do dominate the headlines, D'Amico also has known a few wealthy families who have managed - quietly - to ward off the devastat

There is one thing you can guarantee about Charlie…He is the right man for the job. Red Star Rising is my first introduction to author, Brian Freemantle. After reading this book, I can’t believe I haven’t tried him sooner. I really like this type of genre of books…international spy thriller. Charlie Muffin is the perfect agent. He is good at his job. He is very precise and asks the questions that no one else wants to ask. While I was reading this boo

Sophie recently graduated from Yale. She got a job working as an appeals attorney. It seems that Sophie has everything made or so she thought. Sophie’s world gets turned upside down when at dinner with her boyfriend, Stephen, Sophie suddenly feels her throat close up and she can’t swallow. There is a fist size ball in Sophie’s throat. Sophie goes to Dr. Ames for her problem. Dr. Ames forces Sophie to deal with her childhood and growing up with a father for a porn producer. All the while dealing with the fist size ball in Sophie’s throat. I have to admit that this book turned out to not quite be to my liking. I really wanted to like this book as it seemed that most of the other people who read this book did. The characters didn’t engage me and the book moved slow. I found the characters problems to be bothersome and they were whiny. What I did find interesting though about this book was the main character, Sophie. I have read many books but have never encountered a character where she d

Holly Denham has finally gotten the hang of things as a receptionist at DKHuerst. In addition, Holly has a good looking boyfriend, Toby. Holly is applying for the Front of House Manager position. It won’t be easy. What with overbooking of meeting rooms, not ordering enough food, and the higher management wanting to make trouble for Holly. Also, what is up with Toby? Lately, he has been acting distant towards Holly. Luckily for Holly, she has her friends to distract her. Holly’s Inbox: Scandal in the City brings back all of my favorite characters…Holly, Claire, Jason, Aisha, Toby, and Trisha. I absolutely love these books. It doesn’t matter how thick these books are…I just gobble them up. If you thought things would be different from the first book then you would be wrong. I think things got a whole lot crazier from last time. There are so many hilarious moments that I can’t pick just one from…Holly’s notes to herself, her conversations with Jason, Trisha and Holly’s gossiping. Holly’s

Evangeline is the newest Sister to join Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. Evangeline works in the library answering mail. One day Evangeline receives a strange piece of mail addressed to the Adoration. The letter talks about Abigail Aldrich Rockfeller whom corresponded with Mother Innocenta back in 1943-1944. The letter is signed by a V.A. Verlaine who requests permission to visit the Adoration to see all the other letters between Abigail and Mother Innocenta. At first Evangeline brushes Elaine’s request off but then she becomes intrigued by his request and does some investigating. Evangeline learns that Abigail did correspond with Mother Innocenta all the way up until the fire in 1944. That wasn’t all. There was more. Before Evangeline realizes it, she and Verlaine are deep in over their heads. When I first saw this book the thing that drew me to it was the cover. The next thing was the concept of Angelology. I opened this book and was instantly transported into the story. Th
